A really short blog to let you know two things.
The first is that I have posted another pastel painting tip video on YouTube. I am keen to continue the series and welcome any suggestions. Please!!
The second? I have something to celebrate! I am now over the 100-subscriber mark on YouTube – as I write, I have 102 subscribers!!!! So cool 🙂
Today I shot video footage of another pastel painting demo. I used my digital SLR for the first time (rather than my small handy dandy Canon). For some reason it stopped midway through the demo and I had to press record again. Strange. Fingers crossed I can put it all together and get it up in the next week!

Hi Gail, just watched your bra and daisy videos and I was wondering if it would be beneficial to anyone if you were to show your subject set up. I know it would help me see what you see and how you get to the finished painting. Maybe a bit slower? Only a beginners thoughts.
I enjoy your emails and videos immensely…. I guess I am clamoring for more details
